Formally trained at Art Center as an industrial designer, I learned the ins and outs of design and development by starting my own collaborative business with Superhappybunny, growing a leading design studio with fuseproject, and connecting research, strategies, and brands through innovation workshops at Sterling Brands.

I have more than a decade of experience in design entrepreneurship, education, and program management with clients ranging from lean start-ups to Fortune 500 companies and major global brands.

This mix of skills and experience gives me a powerful ability to take a product, a client, and a vision from inception through launch and smartly beyond.

I AM A DESIGN PRODUCER

Launched the first satellite studio for Yves Behar’s fuseproject. As the studio + account lead, my focus was to bring communication, coordination, and direction to fuseproject’s creative endeavors for clients like PUMA, GE, The NY Department of Health, Nivea, and a series of startups, while nurturing the office talent and maintaining a cultural connection between the two studios.

Drove the creative vision and studio evolution in voice, capability, and deliverables as the SVP at Sterling Brands’ Innovation division. Consumer research, trends, and strategy come together into well crafted deliverables. Ranging from visualizing the future manifestations of a strategy to directing teams of designers + clients through the process of designing products.

Co-founded Superhappybunny to license, design, and manufacture emotive home products. Over time, we evolved and grew it into a full creative consultancy with international recognition and a cult following.

Reimagining the production and distribution of fruits, vegetables, and synthetic proteins brings traditional foodstuffs in line with current and future needs, building absolutely toward a healthier future.

Crop Circles is a modern farm share infrastructure that cultivates fruits and vegetables locally in precisely controlled indoor farms and delivers produce to customers’ doors within hours of harvesting. This approach gives Crop Circles the capacity to deliver seasonal favorites, all year round. Have spaghetti squash arrive just as fall rolls in, or if winter gets you down, have a summer feast of fresh corn, juicy watermelon and some bursting blueberries delivered on a cold winter afternoon.

BigFarma is a new tool for social medicine that closes the loop of care. Envisioned to help borderline symptomatic individuals struggling to manage the onset of chronic diseases like heart disease, diabetes, and obesity, BigFarma uses food as a first level of prevention and to support medication in treatment. Using a connected ecosystem of health professionals, intelligent nutrition algorithms, and modern farming practices, BigFarma explicitly connects a client’s overall health with food to fight the onset of diet-related diseases.

UpRoots modular farming GrowCarts provide an opportunity for consumers to walk into a grocery store and pull juicy grapes from the vine, pluck tart oranges from a tree, or rip a sweet ear of corn right off its stalk, directly on the shopping floor, allowing users to literally pick the freshest, most nutritious produce possible. Created to enable businesses to grow produce on site, each modular UpRoots GrowCart as a foundation for a controlled-environment agriculture. They can be setup inside any space that can get access to light, be it natural or engineered.. and a water supply.

SuperHappyBunny was an innovative visual communication and product studio based at the Brewery artist lofts in downtown Los Angeles. Individually and collaboratively, the studio became known for its rich range of creative work for our clients. Since the start in 2000, the studios grew into an idea source for startups and big players alike. Clients included PixelBlocks, Verizon, and Coca-Cola.
